How Event Check-In Works

Learn how digital tickets and authorized scanning support event-day admission.

Valid ticket

second scan → flaggedrefunded / void → not admittedoffline → syncs when back online
A valid ticket becomes checked-in on the first scan by authorized staff; a second scan of the same ticket is flagged, not admitted twice. Refunded or void tickets don't admit. Scanning works offline and syncs when the connection returns.

From ticket to entry

Completed purchases can provide digital ticket access with a QR code. Authorized staff scan tickets at the event, and the platform helps identify duplicate or unavailable tickets without exposing unnecessary customer data.

  • Use authorized staff accounts for check-in.
  • Prepare a clear entry plan before doors open.
  • Treat refunded or void tickets as unavailable for admission.

What to communicate

Tell audiences where to find their tickets, when doors open, and what identification or arrival information is relevant. Operational details belong on the event page and in buyer communications, not in public technical documentation.
